A Bittersweet Farewell to Orange as We Know It
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the departure of our bandmate and brother, Orange. The incredibly talented Nik G. will be playing his final show with The/Theys this Monday, September 22nd, at TEDxSaltLakeCity.
Since joining us in February 2023, Nik G has been an integral part of our creative core. A true musician's musician, his inventive style on bass, synthesizer, and vocals has left a permanent mark on our sound. Through his masterful command of pedals and effects, he wove rich tapestries of texture and atmosphere, transforming our rhythm section into something truly unique. His contributions are etched into the DNA of our recordings over the last two and a half years, defining a significant era in our history.
We are immensely grateful for the energy, passion, and forward-thinking artistry he brought to every practice, recording session, and show. His incredible musicianship will always be a part of our story.
Please join us on Monday night at TEDxSaltLakeCity to celebrate his time with us and give Orange the massive, colorful send-off he deserves. We wish him nothing but the best on his next creative journey.
